Responsibilities Executive Director - Josh oversees the operations of the organization. This includes oversight of the vision and mission, as well as development and planning.
Why I'm involved with Mission: St. Louis
I am passionate about seeing lives changed, and hope restored. I feel strongly that we can loosen the grip on poverty in our city in a way that is empowering and holistic. I believe that we must focus on one community at a time by building relationships and restoring dignity. No one wants to be a charity case, but everyone needs a friend.
Family
I am the husband to the most incredible woman (Leigh), who is currently pregnant with our first child. I have 3 incredible siblings: Jordan (currently working in Shreveport, LA), Janae (Senior at Ole Miss), and Shelley McMillian (Director of Rock Solid Sports, in Shreveport, LA). My parents (Steve and Debbie Wilson) have played such incredible roles in my life. They are a constant supply of love, encouragement, leadership, and laughter!!
What I enjoy
This is an incredibly long list, so here are a few:
- being with my wife, and my dog (place not important)
- road trips
- rock climbing
- live music
- Louisiana State University (2007 National Champions!!!)
Where I grew up & what I did as a kid
We moved all over the South... Texas, New Mexico, & Louisiana. I had a really cool bike and a BB gun; that about sums it up.
What you really wanted to know...
I once truly believed I had X-Ray vision. Seriously, ask me about it, it's a really funny story.
