Each Beyond Jobs cohort goes through 3 weeks of classes and trainings! Classes are every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12 - 1:30 p.m.
HOW DOES beyond jobs WORK?
Beyond Jobs facilitates individuals' access to the resources they need to achieve sustainable employment, adopt healthy lifestyles, and enact positive change in their lives. Through Beyond Jobs, individuals are paired with a Beyond Jobs Coach to assist them in setting and achieving goals, as well as navigating available resources to progress toward self-sufficiency. With multiple service providers all under one roof, individuals can easily connect with a variety of resources and devise a personalized plan tailored to their needs. Beyond Jobs offers comprehensive job readiness and life skills training, in addition to providing wrap-around supportive services such as transportation assistance, professional attire, and more, ensuring a holistic approach to empowerment and self-sufficiency. Furthermore, Beyond Jobs works collaboratively with Hire St. Louis to provide enhanced employment opportunities and support services, creating a seamless pathway to sustainable employment and personal growth.
MEET TRINITY
Trinity joined Beyond Jobs as a participant in the first three-week cohort of 2025. For a while, finding a secure job felt impossible because of her criminal background. Every application asked the same question about criminal history, often leading to rejection. Without a phone to connect with employers, even getting an interview was a challenge.
Beyond Jobs has helped Trinity build a strong resume, improve her interview skills and provided her with a cell phone to connect with employers.
Her success coach, RaNisha, has seen the determination and commitment Trinity brought with her to every class. "Her willingness to learn has been great to have in class and she has a determined spirit that will help her succeed,” RaNisha said.
Soon after completing the program, Trinity landed a job with St. Louis hotel as a housekeeper. It is stories like Trinity’s that shows how lives can be impacted when perseverance meets opportunity.
