St. Louis, MO - Mission: St. Louis will host its 16th annual fundraising gala to celebrate the city of St. Louis and the people who live there. This year, the Night for the Town gala will be hosted with the theme “Be the City.” The gala will celebrate what it means to love, serve and be the city.

St. Louis, MO. - Each year, Mission: St. Louis hosts an empowering holiday event that allows people to provide Christmas for their family. In 2020 the event was entirely virtual, with shoppers being assisted from their cars. This year, the event will have online and in-person options. The online and in-person stores will be stocked with toys for families to buy at discounted rates and choose to pick up curbside or at the office on North Grand on December 11th.

LOUIS – In late August, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) awarded $30 million to nonprofit organizations, state and local governments and public housing authorities to fund programs that provide moderate home repairs to meet the needs of low-income, older adult homeowners.

HomeFirst merges with Mission: St. Louis to provide housing to participants
St. Louis, MO. - HomeFirst STL, a volunteer-based nonprofit that helps people experiencing homelessness find safe, affordable housing, merged with Mission: St. Louis on Jan. 1st. This merger will allow Mission: St. Louis to provide housing to participants in the workforce development program and will allow HomeFirst to expand its services across St. Louis.

MAPLEWOOD, Mo. – Mission: St. Louis has received a $3,732.23 donation from Saint Louis Closet Co. through the giveback effort, Closets for a Cause. Funds raised will assist the nonprofit’s workforce and education development programs, Beyond Jobs and Beyond School .

St. Louis, MO. - Mission: St. Louis announces the appointment of Ben Holman to serve as the new president of the Mission: St Louis Board of Directors. The board also appointed new member, Daniel Hawthorne. The roles became effective August 1.
